I. Schedule Changes and Announcements

Congratulations to Nick Thoman 100 back 6^th place 53.79, 200 back 5^th place 1:58.17 finals ( 1:57.33 in prelims) and Elliott Keefer 200 breast 21^st place 2:16.95, 100 breast 53rd place 1:04.33. Great Olympic Trials. CAC Alumni.
Championship Weeks are here. This is Ohio Age Group Regional Week. Swim fast at Keating. Go Hawks!!!
Championship practice schedules have been sent out and are posted on the CAC Website. Go Hawks.
Pasta party for all swimmers will be Wednesday July 9^th… A-1, A-2, A-3 5:00-5:30p.m., T-1, T-2 5:30-6:30p.m. and Ohio Sr. and USA Sectional 5:30-6:15p.m. Details have been e-mailed.
Recruiting PEP talk has been e-mailed. Please read carefully. Please have swimmers who are interested to call Coach Benson @ 474-9461 for tryout appointments.
Time trials… please take your USA card and money to sign up. Coach Benson, Ken and Ben will be at the meet.
Congratulations on our Runner-Up Trophy. At the Open Water State Championships. Top 5 teams were 1^st AB 637, 2^nd CAC 556, 3^rd Mason 496, 4^th NKC 418, 5^th CM 310. 19 teams and a record 395 swimmers were entered. CAC top ten individual finishers were: 10/under girls 3^rd Grace Stimson (10) 17:23.73, 8^th Devin Landstra (9) 17:51.46. 11/12 boys 2^nd Greg Nymberg (12) 29:41.84, 5^th Drew Rice (12) 30:23.71, 9^th Hugh Gores (12) 31:19.26. 13/14 girls 3^rd Hannah Vester (13) 42:14.37 , 9^th Elizabeth Heinbach (14) 45:11.29. 13/14 boys 1^st Mack Rice (14) 38:25.83, 2^nd Thomas Norris (13) 39:53.02, 6^th Gray Dennis (14) 40:30.52, 7^th Max Mantkowski (14) 40:38.59. 15 and over boys 6^th Bryan Bedacht (16) 51:47.07, 8^th Andrew Spurling (18) 52: 56.16.

Top 3 relay teams were - 10 and under girls 1st place ( Stimpson, Landstra, Elizabeth Drerup 54:19.90), 11/12 boys 1^st place (Nymberg, D.Rice, H.Gores 1:31.24.81), 13/14 girls 3^rd place ( Vester, Heinbach, Wu 2:14.46.93), 13/14 boys 1^st place ( A team M. Rice, Norris, Dennis 1:58.49.37),3^rd place ( B team Mantkowski, J. Gores, B. O’Connor 2:05.24.18, 15 and over boys 2^nd place ( Bedacht, Spurling, Louis 2:29.52.24) Great Meet Hawks!!!

II. Status Of Meet Entries

· Time Trials, Keating Natatorium, July 8: Talk to your coach if you are interested in a time trial.

· AG Regional Champs, Keating Natatorium; July 11-13: Watch your folders, the website and email for updated information!

· USA Sectional Champs, Indiana University; July 15-19: Details will be available soon. Check with Coach Benson to confirm warm-up times.

· Ohio AG Junior Olympics, Miami U.; July 17-20: Watch your folders, the website and email for updated information!.

· Ohio Senior Champs, Bowling Green, Ohio; July 24-27: The coaches will be selecting the events for this meet. More information will be available soon.
