I.                  Schedule Changes and Announcements

• Open Water Championship Week. Last chance to get into the meet. Call Coach Benson Spurling 474-9461 today! Go Hawks!!!
• Wednesday, June 25^th practice for swimmers not at Open Water Championships will be as follows… Sr, T-2 T-1 4:00-6:15 with Liz and A-3, A-2, A-1 5:45-7:45 p.m. with Ben, Laura and Paige.
• Congratulation Seahawks on your outstanding swimming at the David Webb NKC Inv. Over the weekend we finished 2^nd with 2743.50 pts. out of 11 teams. Top 5 teams were 1st NKC  5141.50, 2nd CAC 2743.50, 3rd Mason 2344, 4th ABLY 1727, 5th Lean IL. 795. It was great to see the large amount of Seahawks.
• Swimming at finals on Saturday and Sunday the CAC swimmers improved over 80 swims from their morning times and earned doughnuts and juice at Clermont YMCA Tuesday morning practice. Individual top ten points were 10/under girls: 2^nd Grace Stimson (10) 143 pts., 8 th Devin Landstra (9) 106 pts.10/under boys: 9^th Charlie Leibson  (9) 81 pts., 11/12  girls :  2^nd Cara Norris (11) 132 pts., 4^th Alonna Motley (12) 98 pts., 6^th Jane Wills (12) 86 pts., 11/12 boys : 2^nd Greg Nymberg (12) 129 pts., 6th Drew Rice (12) 96 pts., 7^th George Krug (12) 85 pts., 8^th Hugh Gores (12) 80pts., 13/14 boys 2^nd Max Mantkowski (14) 134 pts., 3^rd Jasper Gores (14) 121 pts., 5^th Mack Rice (14) 108 pts., 6^th Thomas Norris (13) 106 pts., 7^th Gray Dennis (14) 921/2 pts., 15 and over girls : 7^th Libby Hunsche (16) 72 pts., 15 and over boys : 3^rd Andrew Spurling (18) 103 pts., 7^th Bryan Bedacht (16) 86 pts…. • Recruiting info will be coming out soon in peptalk.
• Weather: Keep an eye on the forecast. It is our goal to have an a.m. practice. If there is a threat of bad weather the coaches will decide to move to CCDS. This was not an option in the past. If we go to Clermont and it thunders we do not get the workout in. We may make the decision the night before. You will receive an e-mail or you can call the 474-WIN 1 line. We will also put it on our website marquee. Three ways to find out. Thank you for your understanding.
• July 8^th, Tuesday is the CM time trials. This meet is a final tune up for our championship meets. Please talk with your group coaches to see if you should attend.

II.               Status Of Meet Entries

·         Ohio Open Water Champs, East Fork Lake, June 25: This meet is closed. Details will be available this week, or check our website!

·         Time Trials, Keating Natatorium, July 8:  Talk to your coach if you are interested in a time trial. 

·         AG Regional Champs, Keating Natatorium; July 11-13:  The coaches will be selecting the events for this meet. More information will be available soon. 

·         USA Sectional Champs, Indiana University; July 15-19:  All swimmers who have Sectional times or who are on relays should attend this meet. More information will be available soon. Coaches will select additional events with the swimmers. 

·         Ohio AG Junior Olympics, Miami U.; July 17-20: The coaches will be selecting the events for this meet. More information will be available soon.

·         Ohio Senior Champs, Bowling Green, Ohio; July 24-27: The coaches will be selecting the events for this meet. More information will be available soon.

The next three weeks of training are the make or break part of the season. Keep making practice a priority and set up your Outstanding Championships  ! It is fun to train hard and smart. It is very fun…to swim fast!!!
